A bit of history

uxperience is an annual variety show created and presented by community volunteers who sing, perform skits, dance, play music, or help backstage providing great entertainment, having fun, making new friends and donating funds to a worthy cause within our community.

Since its beginning in 1992, this non-profit group has donated over $160,000 to local charitable organizations. The recipients of the proceeds have included such worthy causes as the local hospital, hospice, sports facilities, children’s programs and seniors’ projects, and yearly provides three scholarships to graduating students from Uxbridge Secondary School.

Helping our community

Every year we select a local organization serving our community that is in need of support. At the end of our fundraising efforts and the show season, we present the proceeds to the organization.

2024 was uxperience’s 30th, and we celebrated in style! The grand 30th show had a theme of “uxperience The Times”!

Proceeds from this show went to support The Uxbridge Lions Club with a focus on the accessible playground in Elgin Park.

uxperience is Uxbridge’s local variety show with original content: each year we create and perform original skits focused on both the world events and happenings of local relevance. We have also been known to feature original music from local singer songwriters.

Our performances started at Uxbridge Secondary School and were pretty much ‘the only game in town’ back then!

We have since moved to Uxbridge Music Hall with its permanent lighting and sound systems – but our passion for producing a great show supporting local causes remains the same!

Since the first show in 1992, uxperience has served for a place to try and hone artistic talents – we are a (mostly) a non-auditioned group! – volunteer for good causes, and chiefly – make new friends.

Come join us for the next season!
